Part-time ski instructors who can work weekends and holidays, particularly during our busiest period from December 14, 2025, to January 11, 2026, as well as weeks 6–9 and Easter 2026.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 1 Alpine certificat
- Experience in teaching in slalom and/or snowboarding and/or cross-country skiing, sit-skiing.
- Language: Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English
- Driver's license (Category B) preferred.
- Snowmobile license preferred.

Beitostølen Aktiv & Skiskole is seeking interns and students who are looking for a unique opportunity to develop their skills in outdoor activities, winter sports, and guest services.
We welcome interns from universities and schools with study programs in outdoor life, sports, and related fields. Ideally, the internship period should last at least 2 weeks, but this can be arranged individually.
With us, you will have an internship in a warm and inclusive environment with diverse tasks. We have a busy and exciting workday where flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on attitude are essential. Alpine skills are an advantage, as a significant part of the winter season involves alpine instruction for our guests.

Working hours for part-time ski instructors
As a part-time ski instructor at Beitostølen Aktiv & Skiskole, you will have flexible working hours, primarily during weekends and holidays. Our busiest period is Christmas and New Years,from week 6-9 and Easterwhen the need for instructors is at its highest.
Typical working hours:
- Weekends: Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM (until 4:30 PM starting in February).
- Holidays: Christmas, New Year, and Easter with shifts that vary based on course and group needs.
- School holidays. especially weeks 6–9, with the possibility of additional hours.
We understand that our instructors have different needs and life situations, and we strive to offer flexibility to accommodate these. We encourage all interested candidates to discuss their availability and preferences with us.
Tasks for part-time ski instructors include:
As part of our team at Beitostølen Aktiv & Skiskole, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Instruction: Provide training primarily in alpine skiing, but also in snowboarding and cross-country skiing if the candidate has the qualifications. Both group and private lessons are included.
- Safety: Ensure all safety protocols are followed both on and off the slopes.
- Course Leadership Plan and conduct courses and activities in accordance with the ski school's standards and guidelines.
- Development: Contribute to the development of teaching methods and help build a forward-thinking ski school.
- Customer Service: Deliver excellent service and guidance to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Teamwork Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create an inclusive and supportive environment.
- Feedback: Gather and report guest feedback for continuous improvement of our activities and ski school.
